Tidewater Science Project

Austin had a great time at the Science Fair.

He received many positive comments about his project; particularly on how practical it was (in the area of understanding which appliances used the most electricity and how much you can save by conserving). He was one of two students participating from the city of Chesapeake.

Austin did his project as a school assignment, not specifically for the science fair. He found out that there was some stiff competition at the fair (several participants were multi-year award winners), so he did not win any of the awards. However, he received praise from the head Electrical Engineering judge for the creativity and the fact that his was the only project in the category that focused on conservation.

Most importantly, it was a great learning experience for him! We think he did a fabulous job!
