Chinese Acrobats Show

Here she is waiting for the show to start. Let me assure you that, if you get the chance to see this group perform, you will not be disappointed! Amazing does not begin to describe what they can do!

Maddie thinks this young girl is the prettiest thing she has ever seen! I wish you could have seen Maddie's eyes when all of the beautiful Chinese girls were on stage dancing. She looked at me and signed, "Chinese girls...so pretty...Chinese like Maddie!" It made my heart soar for her to have the opportunity to look up to and idolize women who are of her same ethinic background!

Not ones to be left out of the fun...my favorite quotes of the day:

Mom to Carson during intermission: "Carson, what do you think of the show?"

Carson replies: "Wow Mom...nothing is impossible for Chinese people!"

Austin to Mom after meeting the girl in the photo above:

"She is 14 years old...whoooo hoooooo, she is in my league!"

I am pooped but thrilled that we went. The theatre was beautiful and the kids were very, very well-behaved (ok, Maddie was a typical, fidgity five-year-old girl).

Back to our school routine tomorrow!
